Hi Jon,
Very good resume of the system. Looks forward to seeing the test results
Thanks for helping making this site the no. 1 source for good and honest reviews.
Looking forward to seeing how this performs
Again a system with some very big claims. Would be interesting if it was just half as good as the advertising says
very good job so far
keep it up
Hi Jon
Looks nice.
I have been looking over the results from the author. It would appear that on every selection a bet is placed on both the win and place market. You talk about some requirement, so I am wondering if the author has skipped selections whit a no bet.
Hi,
I have just come across your website and noted that there is a current test ongoing re the ‘Money talks’ system.
If I could make some observations about the results posted:-
21 July Windsor 8.20 Institute became a no bet as there should be 1 clear point between the favourite and second fav. Fav. 11/10 2nd Fav 2/1
22 July I agree that Square eddie should have been a bet, though the system is backed up with a telephone line and this horse was not mentioned
Ouzbeck was not a bet as the rules state that jumps races are only backed during the official jumps season
Evelyn May was a bet
There was also an extra bet (phone) 8.20 Windsor Rhadegunda 2nd 2/1
Regards
Ken Douglas
Hi Ken,
Thanks for your Input. I’m sure that Jon who is running this test will soon respond to it
Ken
Thanks for your observations and I would reply as follows.
Firstly, I am not using the telephone service and am identifying selections as explained in the manual. Due to the nature of the selection process, it is quite easy to miss a selection and as I said in my last summary, the system almost demands that you monitor the market throughout the day as selections drift and possible qualifiers shorten.
At the time of placing the bet on Institute the second horse was exactly 1 point greater than the selection. This I have found is a difficult area as Betfair prices are constantly moving close to the start of the race.
Square Eddie was definitely a bet and it´s a bit worrying that the paid for telephone service didn´t identify that horse. I found that selection at least two hours before the race.
I wouldn´t be very happy to pay for a service that misses very obvious selections!
I´ve re checked the system rules and you are correct. Ouzbeck should not have been selected as National Hunt races should only be selected between November and April. I will happily change the published results to reflect that mistake.
Rhadegunda was very close to being a bet and was mentioned in my summary on 21 July but it´s Betfair price drifted slightly above the maximum required just before the race start and so I did not include.
One of the problems with the system is using bookmakers´odds to confirm selections which are then often inflated on Betfair. My understanding is that Betfair is to be used to place bets and this does mean that there will be some qualifiers who are “no bet” from time to time.

Yes, there is a minimum price requirement for Place bets just as there is a maximum price requirement for Win bets.
Unfortunately, the author´s results give the fractional odds for win bets but don´t show Place odds, although they could be worked out by calculating the P/L for each place bet and the stake used!
Jon
Jon,
I believe that win bets are selected at bookmakers prices, as he suggests that you strike a conditional bet where they will accomodate i.e No Bet above 2/1 (see page 11), obviously the place bets will be with Betfair.
Ken
Ken
That is not my interpretation of the manual. My manual is not page numbered but on the page following the heading “Finding Our Selections” where he shows two Betfair visuals, he quite clearly says that in that example he would back the horse to win. There is no mention of betting with bookmakers except for the conditional bet you mention which has been explained before.
If the author intended us to use bookmakers for win bets, why doesn´t he say so? However, I agree that the system would be a lot easier if we took the bookmaker odds and used those on Betfair even if the Betfair prices were say 10% longer to allow for the exchange´s price inflation.
Please do not go into too much detail about the system here as if fully explained no-one would need to buy the book!
Jon
Jon,
Yet again yesterday the phone message did not give Visions of Johanna.
I rely on the phone messages because I am unable to access the racing post website at work
Hi Ken
Well, I really cannot comment on the phone service! I do know that Visions of Johanna was a qualifier, though. If you own the system and know how selections are made, you will appreciate that a horse may not qualify perhaps up until an hour or so before the race.
One of the system “weaknesses” in my opinion is that you have to keep checking the Racing Post every couple of hours during the day to see if there are new qualifiers.
As you may have seen, I have asked the Admin for this site to clarify the question of whether we should be using Betfair prices or bookies odds for win bets with the system author but have not heard back yet.
My point about this is that whilst the bookies odds might be 2/1 (decimal 3 on Betfair) quite often the Betfair price will be 3.5 or so.
I don´t want to get too specific about this here as that might give the system rules away which would not be fair to the author.
But if you want to discuss separately, please email me at jonsambrook@yahoo.com

Money Talks Profit for 1st August over 600! Take a look!
Very very good day there
hope it may continue this way;-)
Re Kempton 19.20 Hilbre Court Unplaced 4th on Day 31, this was a Claimer race and thus does not qualify..see page 16..
Hi KD
Yes, you are correct. I was monitoring so many races yesterday I simply missed the fact this race was a claimer. I wil adjust the test results accordingly.
Nice to know someone is still reading this!
Jon
I’m also reading
What do you think about the system so far?
Admin
I am going to stop the test after tomorrow and will post my thoughts on the system. Overall, it works as shown by the results but it is very time consuming!

At last and having visited your site on many occassions I put in an order, for Money Talks.
Should I need any advise can I check with you?
Hi Fabian
Well, I imagine you have read the e-book and understand how the system works etc. I recommend you paper trade for a few days until you feel comfortable and then start with low stakes.
Whatever system you use there will be both winning and losing streaks so you must expect to lose now and then.
Money Talks performed well during the trial period a few months ago but I haven’t used it myself every day since then so really don’t know how it is doing at the moment.
Cheers
Jon
Has anyone using this system found there are less selections now the Market Movers section on the Racing Post website is different?
I’ve been using the ‘Oddschecker’ Market Movers page but find this throws up a lot of selections.
Surely both Oddschecker and Racingpost are linked to the same bookies so should really throw up the same movers?
Advice anyone?

Jon
Thanks for your response. I always paper trade before I commit real money – but systems
recommended on your site I trade with real
money a bit quicker – Already noticed there
were couple of horses that qualified, last Saturday, but were not mentioned on the telephone tipping service. As the system requires constant monitoring am not surprised the author did
not mention these horses, But then the results that are being published does it include all
horse that qualify whether tipped or not?

I think I should just clear up something! I am not the owner or admin of this site. I did the review of Money Talks and a couple of other systems but am just a reader like yourself.
You would have to take up your query about published results with the system author.
