Just received the following email from betfair:
“Starting on Saturday December 5, 2009, we will be running a trial offering unmanaged in-play Football betting on the Match Odds markets of all untelevised matches in The English Championship and selected matches in Serie B (the Serie B games will be confirmed in the Betfair Forum in advance).
The Match Odds markets for these games will not be suspended for goals, penalties, red cards or at any other time. The bet delay for in-play bets on these markets will be eight seconds.”
This is of course exciting news since it brings up a hole bunch of new strategies to test. Leave a comment if you can think of any new strategy that may work under these new conditions 
No strategies will work in the unmanaged market. When a goal is scored, the odds move DOWN if anything and liquidity is only a few 10s of pounds even if 100k plus has been matched pre-kickoff.
