A new tipping service from Paul Fowlie have now been released.
Sportsworld publihing writes that “Lay It Safe is a highly selective system laying low liability
horses fully proofed to The Racing Post. This service has an
89% strike rate and is earning £1,000 a month from very
selective £100 bets.”
More details about Lay It Safe
We are currently thinking about doing a review of this tipster service but if any of you guys sign up for it, then drop me an email at horseracingman@googlemail.com then you can become a tester for us and post the daily results for all readers to follow
I really wouldn’t bother with this character Paul Fowlie. The guy seems to have a new system for every day of the week. Right now he’s spamming me with some bookie roulette system for a price of £50. I personally believe the guy is a shameless spammer of crap and judging from comments elsewhere, his other systems are rubbish anyway. Don’t waste yer time.
Oh dear oh dear, Paul Fowlie, what can I say?
I fell for the sales hype and ended up buying, over a six month period ‘On course Service’ (£3k down to advised stakes over a 3 month period!) ‘Lay the Place’(no profit over 3 months) and because of the former’s poor reults I was given a free six month sub to his Bismarck service (this was truly appalling from Jan to May last year – losing 7 out of 8 bets one day in April 09) Fowlie lost 60 pts in a RIC lay trial last autumn. Quite simply he is one of the poorest tipsters I have ever come across. If he follows his own advice/systems (which I doubt) then he will be bankcrupt now. He is nothing more than a joke. STAY WELL CLEAR!!
Yes Scottie and that’s precicely why sites like horseracingman need to air these views of Fowlie. His laytheplace is shite and I did subscribe (I know,I know, but never again) to some of his lay systems but thankfully to low stakes. All rubbish and I mean rubbish. Judging from the amount of systems he’s punting and his monthly services, THIS his how he makes his money cause he sure as shit doesn’t or can’t make it from his own back/lay picks. The email promoting his bookie FOBT system , for me, puts the tin lid on this guy. People, please please steer clear of this chancer. He is a shameless system seller just like all the rest and his results just as poor.
I cannot believe what i am reading this is surely a different ‘timemaster’ than i am dealing with. I have been a member of some of the services for several months and have made a substantial profit over this time. The new service and staking plan offered under the Mark Your Card system has been fantastic with profits approx 100% up on level stakes. The Gold Dust backing system has a proven record approaching 50% strike rate. I do not lay horses so am unsure how well ‘lay it safe’ has done.I am stunned at how you portray Paul – I have subscribed to many systems, tipsters etc over many years but he is the only tipster that has emailed a report weekly showing profit and loss at recommended stakes less betfair commission at 5%. Looking at the results from all his services he must be working full time at the service. I am sick of the shit in my email box regarding back fitted systems which anyone with a computer could generate. The amount of times i have analysed the results from these schemes and worked out how quickly i can retire and play golf then paid the fees lost a few grand then realsied i am another year away. Give the guy a break pay the peanuts he is offering his services for papertrade then make some money.
Lucky you northern gambler, you are one of the fortunate. I have paid money to mr fowlie and come unstuck. I also have two freinds who have been involved with his bismark , place to lay, who have got burnt. MY ADVICE TO OTHERS IS TO AVOID THIS GUY !!!
i agree and avoid. i joined the on course service lost over £1000 then paper traded good job it lost over £4k on my subscription period he then took this of the market and renamed it mark your card with a few extra bits added on ie spread betting.
he also had a trail for dodgy 2 one day 10 selections were sent out 9 of them won serious damage to anyones bank if they had laid them all.
Has anyone thought of subscribing to this charlatans lay system and using it as a backing system? Sounds like in no time you’ll be in Barbados ordering mojitos and applying suntan lotion to some nubile blond while she washes your new Ferrari in the nude…….. with her best mate holding the soapy bucket.
does anyone know what has happened to mr paul fowlie, his website thetimaster has dissapeared, maybe he started following his own systems and tips and lost his money!!, as we that had faith in him have done !!!!
Fowlie has moved sites to systems4horseracing.com
Still wouldn’t touch anything he does with a 10 foot pole though.
cheers LF ,it makes you wonder why the”norths leading proffesionalpunter”has changed site names !!!!.i was foolish to think he was a decent man,but after a few systems and tipping services off him, which all lost me money in the end, when i asked for some money back he told me to f… off
charming man !!
Hi Paul Fowlie here, nice to see I still have 1 fan left ha ha. It only takes a few negative people to write on here to make me look bad but I do have a lot of support and at present my Mark Your Card service has produced a 50% Strike Rate this year. I doubt many can match that
Graham. Dear oh Dear.
This Graham guy was betting with a bank of sometimes less than £50 so wondered why he was getting knowhere, I also used to let him join a service and pay me when he could afford it
He was on holiday last year near me and I took a morning off work to take him and his wife to the gallops, also a tour of Mark Johnsons new set up and also Graham and his wife were allowed to take photos of my Horse All In the Red
Yes I’m not a very nice person am I ? and yes I did tell Graham to F Off but you can only take so much shite and he used to e-mail me everyday with his ups and downs which after a while get you down
I cannot imagine Henry Rix and Co taking £5 weekly payments and giving out the customer support plus doing what I did, oh, then he comes on here and slags me off. Thanks Graham
SYSTEMS. The On Course DID make a profit but the problem is people don’t give it long enoght and after a couple of months if they had not make enough to buy a car they pack up.
Lay If Safe was brilliant last year, this year it has had a nightmare but now it is flying and it is now back in profit
Favourites System is once again nearly 50 Points up and rock solid
I always try my best to help people and will meet anyone on the racecourse for a day out
Yes all my systems have not worked long term but this does not make me a bad person and I’m never here to rip anyone off, anyone that wants meet me for a day out will soon change their mind
Kind Regards
Paul
Paul you make a good point – sorry for jumping on the bandwagon with my comment – Ive never tried the product so should have kept quiet.
Just like to say that Paul is a great guy, really nice person.
You have to ride the ups and downs and give any system at least a year before you can comment.
I have been racing with Paul at Catterick and came away with a nice profit, even bought Paul Lunch.
Nick
I don’t know what all the fuss about Paul Foulie is.
Almost all of the punters who send off for systems are either lazy, greedy or impatient and expect miracles for a few pounds. If the above is not the case why don’t they put in the hard work and hours of analysis themselves and then see how hard it is.
Paul Foulie will always hold his hands up and admit if a system is not doing as it should, but what you all need to realise that backing or laying horses is never a sprint and always a marathon. Have patience and see things through and aim to get rich slowly and steadily and not quickly.
There is an old Hungarian proverb which reads “What comes quickly goes quickly and what comes slowly usually stays”
Good Luck to all and stick it out.

Thinking back a while, i can remember mark your card was once advertised on its lay times website, am i correct! and do you know those that run itslaytime, dreamlays and free-profits!!
I tried that lay the draw system today! using Man Utd and W.B.A,
how can system like this ever fail.
Very good result!
layed the draw using 50.00 (so liabilty was 270.00 @ 6.4 on betfair, then waited untill Man Utd scored the 2nd goal then the odds to back the draw went crazy!! so decided to back the draw using a just a 10 pound stake…..well you know what happened, the game ended in 2-2, what a result
Hi Andy,
I wrote this system some years ago then someone else came along with a similar product called The Football Cash Generator or something like that.
This can fail if it ends 0-0 so you have to cover your stake by backing 0-0 as a correct score.
Just remember England last week, ouch
Regards
Paul
Hello Andy
Good to see you had a good result with your venture into “Lay the Draw” but be careful with the games you select to play on and only go for games where you feel the will be plenty of goals as the dreaded 0-0 will hit you and two or three of these in a row will be a killer, The way to protect this is look for smaller and steadier profits and do a small insurance bet on the 0-0 result before the off. You may get 12 to 1 on this price.
Good luck with it anyway.
Bill
Thanks Bill and Paul for your advice! i was thinking about backing the 0-0 with Man utd and W.B.A just for insurance, but decided not too, but would of been gutted had it finished 0-0. I will be trying it again this weekend with Chelsea and Wolves! i was just lucky last week, this time i will back the 0-0 draw! and also lay the draw
Back 0-0 @ 34.0 bf odds
Lay the draw @ 10.0 bf odds
