The Wizard Of Odds Review

Sportsworld have come up with a new system, The Wizard Of Odds by Peter Blake. This is a backing system, my favourite kind, and shows a profit at level stakes and a much bigger profit using a staking plan, which they include.
You will need the racing post paper every day except Sunday when there are no selections. I`m not sure if the information is on the pay section of the website, or not, I guess it is. My morning walk will now include me dropping into the the local bookies to get the selections.

Since the systems inception (14/4/10), the statistics are as follows:-

107 fully qualifying bets

76 winning bets

Strike rate = 71.02%

1 point level stakes profit = +39.272 points

As you will have worked out from the above, most of the selections are odds on, but a winner is a winner and the system is showing a profit so far according to Sportsworld.

The system costs  £95 with no mention of a refund, but you can also get the selections by phone at £40  PM.

I will do a review of this system for a month, starting on Monday 23rd Aug.
Read the sales page for The Wizard Of Odds

PS

When this system was sent to me , it arrived in my spam folder…….an omen?

Mark

I will give results at level stakes, and at the end of the review I will post results using the staking plan that is given with the system.

I will use a notional €10 stake.

Final thoughts.

So another trial over and still not hit the jackpot. I guess this will have to be put in the neutral tray.

Our review of about five weeks gave us 45 bets, 25 of which won, 55%.

Unfortunately , most were under 1/1, and we had losers at 1/8 and 1/4, which doesn`t  inspire confidence. Maybe with a good staking plan, one would be able to make a profit.

The final loss was 6 cents using level stakes.

Using the staking plan that is included with the system, there was a profit of €79.77.  The staking plan has a minimum stake of two points, which in my opinion is silly, as that then becomes the stake. So using the staking plan there was a profit of about 4pts. At one point of the test you would have been down over €250, so a little scary.

As with all Sportsworld systems, this is also overpriced for what you get and is to be avoided.

Neutral system

Comments

  1. Jeff says:

This one was doen by Peter Blake. Th same guy that sold the ill fated ‘Dutching Diamond’. Only 3 months results with it apparantly.

  2. Sonja says:

Can the selections be found on the Racing Post website or would I need to buy the paper every day?

    Cheers

  3. vicki says:

hi is the staking plan the martingdale because i was going to purchase the system but the martingdale system is to say the least risky?….or would you recommend level stakes?…thanks

  4. donnie says:

what is a martingdale system? and if dutching diamonds was ill-fated why is it still being talked up by sportsworld? are they reliable?

  5. Mark says:

    Hi,
Mark here, I`m the one doing the review.
    To answer the questions.
The selections can be found in the RP paper , not on the web site.
I`m not familiar as to what is available on the pay sections of the RP site, so I can`t answer that.

The staking plan is not Martindale, but I would advise to divide by two the results given on their site, that way, you would get more honest results of the staking plan.
I will explain why at the end of the test.

  6. donnie says:

    hi mark,
having taken the system for a month, I’m not too sure I like the sound of your “warning” ref. the staking plan results, since it was those results which encouraged me to buy in. would you care to elaborate, or should I brace myself for a disappointment!!

  7. admin says:

    Hi Mark

Can you try to make a running total of how it goes :-)

  8. donnie says:

    hi all,
any response to comments 4 and 6 would be appreciated, cheers!

  9. admin says:

Donnie=> He probably means the martingale staking plan. Read the link underneath

    http://www.horseracingman.com/martingale-staking-plan-martingale-system/

  10. vicki says:

    Hi Donnie,

i was just going to say about the martingale but see admin have answered it….cant help with the rest but i am or was till recent results thinking i might buy the system…..so will wait to see how the review goes first….lets hope its a good review though…..

  11. donnie says:

currently trialling this through Sporrtsworld offer of £20 for 1 month. results so far, LWLWWLLLLL, nine of the ten selections at odds of 11/10 or less. using the staking plan, which was why I thought it might be profitable, my next bet will be six units, having lost twenty units on my lasr five bets. Having read your report on full circle, marketed through Sportsworld, isn’t it time questions were asked about THEIR integrity?

  12. donnie says:

    thanks Vicki,
if you want my personal view on W.O.O., and one or two others, I’ll be happy to send you an e/mail

  13. donnie says:

    Hi Admin.,
fair comment The integrity of all contributors must be respected.
on the basis of your comment “write it in here so everyone can benefit”– surely responses to submissions 6 and 11 would be appropriate, and certainly beneficial to all.

  14. donnie says:

would love to know how you got a selection for today Wednesday 15th, my telephone message said the service was suspended till further notice due to ill health!!!

  15. donnie says:

it seems pointless to post comments and ask questions if you never respond. have a think about it

  16. admin says:

donnie=> sporting world are sellers of the system so always beware!

Comment 6 would probably be answered when the system review is finished.

  17. donnie says:

that maybe so. and not knowing anything about Sportsworld I can only read into your comments that they may not be reliable. it doesn’t answer my question, though. how did your reviewer access a tip for Wednesday. which was a very significant 7 unit bet producing ,it seems, a winner.

  18. donnie says:

p.s. if you’re operating a site designed to protect punters against scams and unscrupulous sellers, why aren’t you letting us have all the information you obviously have/

  19. Mark says:

    Donnie,
The way I got the selection was, like I always do, I worked it out by the rules of the system.
(I`m a very clever guy, you know)

BTW, I will continue to post results until the end of September

  20. admin says:

Donnie=> I will have to ask my reviewer about this tip. I have no idea since I’m not reviewing it. However, the reviewer don’t get paid no matter if the system is good or bad so he should be 100% neutral.
I will try to get hold of him, but please have patience, this is free work he does!

Regarding comment 19, then again it’s not me who is doing the review. I don’t know why he wants to wait untill the review ends, but that is his decision.

Please remember that the reviewers here are volunteers who does NOT get paid for their work, so they of course also have other things to do than answer questions.

Wait for the review to finish then you will get all information the tester has to offer.

  21. Mark says:

    Mr. Admin.Man Sir,
What do you mean I don`t get paid?
Does this now mean I will have to cancel my round the world trip, or that I can`t keep up the payments on my Carribbean villa or worst of all that I will have to return the Ferrari. What a shock.
Donnie, my comment about the staking plan was, as you know the minimum stake used is two points. Its just that I think this gives a false slant on the results. The results should always show one point as the standard stake. Hope that explains it for you.

I can`t get over not getting paid, shocking.:(

  22. donnie says:

ok admin you win!! very civilised responses from both you and Mark . thankyou both

  23. donnie says:

have to say this is a pretty non event site. I look it up every day but never seems to have any new posts or info., time to wake up??

  24. donnie says:

thankyou for the objective review. I took the system for September and cancelled. Very impersonal telephone manner, and no apology when info incorrect, e.g. wrong meeting// wrong race time–didn’t happen often, but it happened. Does anyone else want to assist with a comment??

  25. PBY says:

Unfortunately Donnie, this is par for the course with Sportsworlds systems. They also claim to proof all their systems now which of course I’d like to believe but…

It’s going to take me a lot to ever buy a system from them again but you never know!

Great review of system and well done to Horseracing Man for providing unbiased and accurate reviews.

  26. DEAR REVIEWERS/PUNTERS,DONNIE ET AL . I FEEL SO
SORRY WITH WHAT YOU ALL HAVE TO PUT UP WITH. IT’S
NOT HARD (at least not for me) DEVISING A WINNING
SYSTEM,THE HARD PART IS CAN IT WIN CONSISTENTLY
OVER A VERY LONG TIME & PREFERABLY @ A VERY HIGH
PERCENTAGE ? ALL THE SYSTEMS THAT I USE HAVE A
WIN RATE OF AT LEAST 96 % & HAVE BEEN DOING SO FOR
YEARS.THEIR ARE SOME CORE CONSTANTS TO FINDING
REGULAR WINNERS & WHEN YOU FIND THOSE CORES ,YOU
ARE ON THE FIRST RUNG OF THE LADDER OF WINNING
REGULARLY .IT HAS TAKEN ME A VERY LONG TIME TO
ARRIVE AT WHERE I AM NOW WITH THE SYSTEMS THAT I
USE AND THEY ARE ALL TAILORED TO FINDING THE
BETS THE DAY/NIGHT BEFORE WITH THE LEAST AMOUNT
OF WORK OR FUSS & CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!! I HAVE
GOT IT DOWN TO SUCH A FINE ART THAT YOU DON’T
EVEN NEED A COMPUTER/LAPTOP/OR NEWSPAPER TO FIND
WHICH BETS ARE GOING TO WIN AGAIN…I BET THAT’S
GOT YOU GUESSING ?..JOKE ! BUT I’M BEING SERIOUS
I PUT MY BETS ON THE NIGHT BEFORE & JUST GET UP
WONDERING “HOW MUCH HAVE I MADE TODAY” . THIS IS
I’M AFRAID, A VERY LONG POSTSCRIPT TO MY EARLIER
    E-MAIL THAT I SENT,BUT I WOULD DEARLY LOVE FOR
THE PEOPLE WHO COMMENT ON YOUR SITE & HAVE LOST
THEIR SHIRTS ON RUBBISH TO KNOW WHAT IT’S LIKE
TO KEEP WINNING ALL THE TIME..SURELY WE CAN FIND
A WAY TO GET 1 OR 2 OF MY SYSTEMS TO THE PUNTERS
& SOME SMALL UNIT PRICE FOR A LIMITED NUMBER PER
    SYSTEM..SAY 200–300 COPIES EACH SYSTEM,DON’T
FORGET THE NUMBER SOLD PER SYSTEM WOULD HAVE TO
BE LIMITED..DON’T WANT TO SHOOT MYSELF IN THE
FOOT! I AM RETIRED & DERIVE ABOUT 75% OF MY
INCOME FROM BACKING WINNERS. YOURS,SINCERELY ALAN.

  27. Andy Haywood says:

Well done! im glad you have a system that works, why dont you keep it for yourself.
I have a very good system myself, and wouldnt dream of selling or sharing it!
