Profitable Lays as the name suggests is a simple laying system for UK horse racing that finds 4/5 selections a day and has produced an average of over £700 profit per month using £25.00 stakes and over 490 points profit since May 2010.
Profitable Lays claims to be a unique and revolutionary lay betting method that comes in the form of an ebook and consistently finds horses that lose giving you an excellent return on every £1 staked. Previous winning days of +10, +11, +12, even +20 points profit made have already been recorded and better still, all bets are made to level stakes and can be found hours before the race is run as the system does not rely on market moves or any price restrictions on the horses selected to lay.
According to the results listed on Profitable Lays website it has had just 2 losing months out of the last 19 with both months only losing just over 6 points each and with an average losing SP of only 11/8. The Profitable Lays system is a simple, low risk betting strategy that only takes approximately 25 minutes a day to find the selections and can currently be purchased at a cost of £67.00, which represents a saving of £30 off the usual price.
I will trial the Profitable Lays system for 60 days using £10 level stakes per lay and record my findings to Betfair SP less 5% commission deducted.
Profitable Lays Final Review
This is a very simple laying system by Chris Adams which requires no form study what so ever, takes no more than 30 minutes to find the selections and can be set up early in the morning before you go to work or even the night before racing if you want to take Betfair starting price.
There was one minor selection problem involving the racing post as the profits on the Profitable Lays website for this system had been gained using the paper version for selections, but as I don’t buy the paper version every day I had to use the online version to check for selections. This meant that on a few rare occasions I had a different selection or two to the vendor as the online version updates the race betting forecast if there are any non-runners, but this did not have a negative effect on the overall results. To overcome this problem the author has just started a daily selection service for which he is charging £10 per month and will give you all the daily selections from the racing post paper version by 9am each morning.
The Profitable Lays selections on average are below 5.00 but on a few occasions the odds have risen way above this, notably a Barney Curley runner which went out to 17.10 and was a loser for the system, so I would definitely advise an odds limit when placing the lay bets to cover this situation.

Final Summary
The author recommends a bank of twenty times your stake but as we wiped out over 23 points in three consecutive losing days during the trial, I would suggest a slightly larger one of about 30 points to cover this just in case you hit a bad run from day one. As with all betting systems there will be ups and downs and that was certainly the case with Profitable Lays, but overall this is a very simple to operate system that I would not hesitate in recommending.
